The name you’re looking for is Vigen Guroian, whom we interviewed for our show “Restoring the Senses: Gardening and an Orthodox Easter.” He didn’t take any vows, though, so he’s not a priest; he is a theologian and a scholar who is a professor of religious studies at the University of Virgnia.
As an aside, one of my favorite elements of this show is the rich, lush soundtrack for the hour of radio. Since this Sunday is Orthodox Easter, we’ll be releasing one track per hour that day to celebrate the spirit the spirit of the day.
