Q:About half-way through the Aimee program I thought I heard Krista mention a book about the all-consuming nature of ministry from a woman's viewpoint. Perhaps I was distracted while driving but I thought the book was written by a woman. It sounded like an ideal gift for my pastor, who's going on sabbatical for 8 weeks. Didn't see it referenced on the website. Does anyone recall what book Krista mentioned? Or did I hear incorrectly?

Women in the Church of Christ by Anthea ButlerThanks for the question. Although Krista didn’t recommend any book at this point in the show, she did credential Anthea Butler with her work, Women in the Church of God in Christ: Making a Sanctified World.

I’m not sure if this is light reading for a sabbatical, but I’ve often been surprised by what qualifies for leisure-time activity. Cheers!
