With Pope JPII’s canonization into sainthood on Sunday, a look back. In 2005, we produced a retrospective on the late pope’s religious legacy after his death. Krista speaks with NPR’s Sylvia Poggioli, priest + author Donald Cozzens, and Yale theologian Margaret Farley. Together they explore some of the critical religious issues of his 26 years as pontiff and discusses the great and contradictory impact he made on the Church in America and abroad.
