Get Published on the On Being Blog
This is a place to submit your essays/reflections, photos (pretty please), videos, quotes, and audio clips for editorial review and possible publication on the On Being Blog. Please remember that the content you submit should carry a certain ineffable sensibility (if you listen to the show and read our posts, you will gain a greater idea of what this is).
Generally, we recommend your submission be less than 1000 words in length. But, this is more of a guideline than a rule. And your submission should be an original piece of work to which you own the rights — especially photos, unless they are under the Creative Commons license — although, on occasion, we have reprinted a contribution that was posted in another publication.
We openly welcome people from all walks of life. We want to give your talents a space to be read by a larger audience. We are always looking for insightful perspectives and little heard ideas, or even simple quotes that inspire, move, and inform. Submissions do not have to be overtly religious, but they should touch on the human condition and the meaning of things to help all of us better understand our world.
This isn’t a place for show pitches, general feedback, or commercial solicitation. Our contact form will better serve your needs.
