The People of Occupy BostonAri Daniel Shapiro crafted a beautiful radio piece including a rabbi and other Occupy Wall Street protesters in Boston with the erection of a sukkah as part of the Jewish holiday of Sukkot. Some truly great religion reporting on NPR’sWeekend Edition Sunday.

The Purest Bicycle Rider

by Trent Gilliss, senior editor

How many of us have passed by a stranger on the street or sat near a person on a bus or a train so many times but we’ve never really known much more about that person than the judgments and stories we’ve created in our heads? For some Bostonians, this documentary makes that introduction. The film does a lovely job of introducing Louie the bike rider and shows you his passion for one thing — riding bicycle.

If any of you Bostonians see this, comment or drop us a line if you recognize Louie. I’d love to hear what you think.

Scheduling Changes in Boston

Trent Gilliss, online editor

There’s a lot of activity in Boston these days. We recently learned that WGBH will now be carrying Speaking of Faith on Sundays at 7 a.m. Yeah!

Also, later this week WBUR made significant changes to their weekend schedule, including moving SOF from noon on Sunday to the 6 a.m. time slot that same day. If you have opinions on this decision to move SOF from midday to early morning, please let them know by commenting to WBUR’s announcement, writing an e-mail, or calling them at (617) 353-8451.
